The Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Tampa

We checked in from TN to attend a family reunion in Tampa August 29th. We needed a hotel close to all schd. events, safe, nice rooms and no parking fees. that was nice, secure and I found Westshore on the Google website. The location was perfect, and close to all the events whic made it easy to get around town, including 10 mins. From the airport. Wow. We couldn't believe we found a place that crossed off so many concerns it was close to a shopping plaza, grocery store, drug store and 5 mins from Ben Davis Beach. Marriott hotels is where we had our family but parking fees were $50 daily! The cons were: no microwave in the room, joining room to strangers, no ice machine on the floor and toilet in bathroom too low for adults or anyone having trouble getting on and off without a handicap rail, almost perfect for children! However my biggest compliant was being woke up in the middle of the night with the noise of the couple in the joining room having sex! I will make sure from now on to make sure to ask about the room I'm assigned and never let that happen again, what if our grandchildren had been with us on this trip! However we only had another day there after the sex incident so there wasn't any sense to me to ask for a different room and yes, this is the first time I'm saying it publicly, but it was unacceptable to assign us joining rooms without asking me if I would have objections. In the future I will always ask at the desk before I accept the room. My rating was focused on the positive aspects of Westshore Portfolio Hotel but it had pros and cons but not bad enough to keep me away, I would just make sure that I would address all these concerns in the future before I book if given the opportunity to travel back to Tampa.

I had such an amazing experience at the Westshore Grand Tampa! From the moment I arrived, Shay and Jess at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—their friendliness and professionalism truly set the tone for my stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and effortless. The hotel itself is impeccable—the rooms were spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, and the included shuttle service was always on time and super convenient. Every staff member I encountered was helpful and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Westshore Grand Tampa to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t wait to come back!

It was a great experience for my husband and I, we definitely need to mention Robin at the cafeteria, we were late for breakfast but she right away offered us to serve ourselves and gave us containers to take , she was super amazing, great personality and friendly! Also another employee at the cafeteria by the name of Jenny was very attentive and made sure we had coffee too. We were blown away by the terrific service and great attitude even though breakfast was over. We definitely come back to this hotel! Nicky & Leo

Great experience !!! The room was lovely. I just wanted to say thank you though because I accidentally left my kindle in the room and when I called they had it!!! I was able to quickly pick it up. The valet man was sooo kind and let me just hop out to get my stuff. He even checked in on me while I was waiting on housekeeping. Housekeeping was incredibly kind over the phone when I called about it and when they gave me my things they were so happy and nice. 10/10 experience. The staff is the best ! Also , their burger is AMAZING.

My partner and I stayed here for almost two weeks straight. It was comfortable, clean and convenient for us. Service wise was fine- We saw the same five or six people on rotation 24/7 at the front desk which is insane. Loved Nosh +Thyme within the building for breakfast, and there's an Image Salon Suites to get your hair and nails done while you're there without having to drive. Jasmine at the front was super friendly and helpful to us during our stay:) Things to be improved- the shower water pressure and toilet, real cable tv, faster elevators.

If I could give 10 stars ⭐ I would . First let me start off by saying the front desk Shay is not only an amazing human being . But is indescribably heaven sent . She went out of her way to help me when my autistic son , my husband , and myself was in a horrible jam with Priceline . She is God sent and I will forever be grateful . 2nd the staff o boy if I could pack people like that everywhere I went I would be stress free . The rooms are immaculate !! The bathrooms are clean . They cleaned my room everyday while I was there . Clean towels every day . Greeted us every morning & to top it off gave me and my family complimentary breakfast . I can’t wait to stay here again . And if you ever have the pleasure to be greeted by SHAY you will NOT be disappointed. Thank you soooo much Westshore grand . Hands down the best place ever !!!

The Food and Beverage Manager made our visit! She is so engaging. We enjoyed talking to her very much. We had the breakfast buffet/eggs Benedict which was delicious and the coffee was very good too! The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and has a mall directly across the street. There is a Publix right on the other side. Movie theater, tons of food, and shopping within walking distance. We arrived really early and they held our luggage for us while they prepared our room. Highly recommend!!

I've stayed here twice. Overall satisfied with the experience. Nice ambiance, Clean rooms, and good customer service! My only two issues were the AC and shower/sink drains in the room.. I stayed on the same floor, in different rooms and had the same AC and drainage issues. I let the front desk know and they were receptive. Other than that, a pleasant stay!
